What do I do if blending is hard for my students?

When you have a student with low phonological awareness and he/she is having trouble with blending and segmenting consider the chart below. This chart identifies ways to design blending practice into "less to more" complex tasks. Start with the less complex tasks and gradually move to the more complex tasks.
This is a real help with your struggling students.
